I’ve been growing all my plants indoors (except one) using what many call – SIP’s – sub irrigated planter. The ones I use are like the image above, all from milk or soda bottles.

Using these simple to make self-watering planters, you’ll eliminate over watering your plants. They also make great seed starter planters.
